Travel Adapter Converter
Traveled to Greece with my Canon digital camera and iPod, do I need a converter or adapter, or both?
The camera uses a lithium-ion Lithium batteries are not. Thanks.
I suppose they are in the States, but I'm sorry if this is a wrong assumption. As far as I know the camera iPod chargers and do not have a problem with the voltage difference, since converters operate through anyway, but you need an adapter for Europe. Greece operates in the socket European standard (a bit like a shaver socket, with the round pin) so these should be easily accessible. Although one thing to keep in mind is that many facilities modern now require a ground (third pin in the socket), but others do not and the 2 different types of chargers are compatible. I can not comment because I do not know where you staying. I have traveled much of Europe and lived in the States (and being from England, we are always completely different) and have never had a problem with the difference voltage, only the adapter.
