Should I take a suitcase or backpack?
I'm traveling around the United States, Canada, Europe, London and Thailand for 6 months and I can not decide whether I should take a wheely suitcase or one of those huge backpacks. I'll stay in hostels with a partner. I am also unsure what to take and how many of everything. Will degrees and less snow in some places, then no other tropical. mabye I should take a large backpack and a small wheely suitcase?, I worry that my shoes will address the half of my bag, let alone have enough space for my towel and the rest of my shit! Please help me! Also, the whole point of this trip is part of what I space for heels and nice clothes, not only as tourist bummy things. Oh, and How much universal adapters? (I live in Australia) Thanks!
Take a backpack. Note that anything that will take you is the following: escalators in train stations, endless stairs in hostels in London, through unequal incredibly crowded street in Bangkok, and lifting it in and out of taxis and tuk-tuks, on the roofs of buses, in and out of the train racks Merchandise ... whatever. In a hall of arrival, a suitcase on wheels is just what you need - in the real world, you have to hump your computer with others. As for shoes, a pair of slippers, a pair of boots / walking shoes, a pair of thongs or sandals, a pair of shoes out ... and that's it (and that's too). Universal Adapter are about AU $ 14 to Dick Smith or Target. Needed. Remember, you can only take 25 kg on flights of the economy (say 20 kg, but we will go to 25), plus your hand luggage, which should be a backpack to use for day trips (duh). And do not forget, you want to buy things, so it takes less of what they need and stock up on the fly. All you can buy in Oz (and a lot can not) be purchased abroad, so do not worry if you can not meet their heels Take a couple inches beyond cheap, or borrow someone else.
