What can women wear in Kuala Lumpur?

Kuala Lumpur is a modern city so wearing singlets, shorts and T-shirts is perfectly fine on the streets. Women here mostly wear a light blouse with long pants while the younger ones prefer mini skirts, shorts and dresses. What's odd here is that showing legs in mini skirt is OK but plunging necklines are frowned upon. You will also attract unwanted pervy stares of you something moulding.

To enter a mosque, however, you will need to have full cover - long sleeved, ankle-length and headscarf. Try to bring along something pretty to wear to fancy restaurants too. Swimwear will also come in handy because it is just so hot here.
