Flight delay problem?
I will travel from SFO to Calcutta this weekend. My flight schedule is: - FRA LH 9053 SFO Arrival: -9:45 am FRA FRA-Chennai Check out 758 LH: FRA - 11:00 am - Arrival at Chennai 23:45 (not given tickets to fly from Calcutta), Chennai, Kolkata Chennai Kingfisher Airlines Departure time: 5:25 a.m. (day below) My question is this: 1. If my flight is delayed SFO-FRA will miss both flights. Lufthansa does not offer alternative flight. 2. What will happen to my check on luggage in case my flight is changed.
You must contact the travel agency or airline that has your ticket. Each airline has an identification code and the first 3 digits of your ticket. The carrier generally originatng protect you from other flights. You can ask the source company to transfer your luggage to the new flight. Otherwise the origin carrier put on its first flight the next day and you can seek compensation for hotel and food for the plane / this is a normal procedure. If the first flight is delayed and dirt around your schedule, you cancel the trip and get a full refund or you can re-book their flights w / o penalties. Hope you make your flights w / o delays.
