How I can travel to Iran?
I am an American woman and I love to travel to Iran. Does anyone know of a good tour group that goes there from the U.S.? Is it hard to get a visa to visit there? I've heard people are very friendly and obviously the amount of history and culture is not to be incredible. Has anyone traveled there and get advice on dress codes, safety, what to see, what to buy, what to eat, or any other thing? My biggest fear is to say or do something that is considered offensive so any advice would be greatly appreciated!
Well you already have your answers, but here are some tips. The girls in Iran use their head scarves back slightly, so that its cover all their hair. You may not have to wear jackets large amount is called a Persian. You can use the short. ONLY IF you are wearing jeans though. For security reasons do not go walking the streets at 5 am. Seriously do not. I'm going to leave it. If you can bring a male friend, boyfriend / husband whatever. Then you are extremely safe. The people are friendly, which are for the Islamic government, not so much. OMG after Iran test meal you want to live there. Goodness. The cakes are amazing. And they are very, very cheap too. The cakes do not have frosting on them, they have cream on top, but seriously do not let that bother you because its flavor is infinite times better than the cakes here in America. You have to eat kababs. You can not go to Iran without eating kababs. Oh, and order pizza! It's so good. Also go to McDonald's. It is completely different the McDonald's here. For one thing he knows best. You must bargain but if you can not speak Farsi, you can not. If you're going to go to Tehran after Miladenoor mall. It is a fairly large mall, and very, very funny. Ohhh! And there are movies such as two dollars. And they're high quality too. The things do not carry in your suitcase American Movies. A photo of Khomeini who has crossed his face is not a good idea haha. Do not talk about the Iranian government. And if someone is talking about you tell them your a tourist. I really recommend you go to Kish. It will be waaaaay more comfortable for you if you go there. Daryoush hotel is the best hotel there in Kish.
