Travel Europe Cheap Tips
What are some tips for flying to Europe cheaply and reducing expenses while traveling around once there?
We fly to Europe next summer, but are not very fussy about where we fly in, etc. We want to stay for 2 to 3 weeks and just travel around. We want to stay most shelters and perhaps a hotel here and there. So, are there particular kinds of experience do everything cheaper? Thanks! For flights, which usually do is check Kayak.com day, their prices fluctuate, sometimes you can get great deals. If you can, you can get much If you fly on Monday / Tuesday / Wednesday as opposed to weekends. Check your local newspaper for ticket sales. Also check the airlines Zoom, which are an international budget airline. It depends where you go in Europe in terms of how cheap it is, if you're thinking of going to London, Paris and Berlin, which will be expensive, but if you go to Krakow, Budapest and Bratislava, which will save lots of food, entertainment and accommodation. The tours are a good way to keep low costs as transportation, accommodation and some meals included, are making it easier to budget. Cooking in the kitchen of the hostel, and eat at vendors street is much cheaper (I think skewers, hot dogs, pizza) to McD to eat every day for lunch and going to expensive places for dinner every night. That said, you should spend some money to try to eat well, because everywhere we went, the food was fantastic. Some cities have places to camp near the city that have lovely little cabins that can often be cheaper than the hostels, and are generally close to public transport, and have all the facilities you would expect (showers hot, shop, etc)
