The tip of the the blade will trace a circle, and the circumference of that circle is the distance traveled in one rotation.
Circumference = 2(pi)r = 2(pi)1.5 = 3(pi) feet per revolution
1760 * 3(pi) = 5280(pi) feet per minute
5280(pi) / 5280 = (pi) miles per minute
60(pi) = 60 * 3.14159 = 188.5 miles per hour
