Travel First Aid Kit Boots
what else do i need for my first show?
im going to my first show on saturday!!
im so nervous and scared, we are jumping 2ft3 course
i need help with what to bring
for myself i have:
white jogs
show shirt
show jacket
boots+chaps
hat
gloves
for horse:
saddle and bag/cloth
bridle (snaffle bit)
nummah
jumping boots
grooming kit
girth obviously
plaiting ties
show sheen
fly spray and mane and tail spray
fly mask
headcollar
whip
spare reins/stirrups
travelling boots/bandages
other:
food?
do i need to take water?
do i need to take haynet? i think so
treats
entry fee and form
passport or identification
first aid kit
money
suncream
sun hats
camera video camera
tissues
energy drinks
bucketsx2
anything else?!
do you have to have a hairnet? or can i have plaits?
I have a show on Saturday too!!!! But Ive shown LOTS before. Everything you have seems great. AMke sure you bathe your horse to give him a great look. I LOVEEEEEE vetrolin conditioner!!!!! Also I reccomend Pepi-Coat Aresol spray rather than showsheen! But showsheen should be fine too.
I would bring a little bit of grain for your horse...you never know.
Take water for yourself AND for your horse...horse usually will not drink water that they are not used to.
YESSS bring a haynet...put it in the trailer aand when you arrive tie it where ever your horse will be.
Plaits are fine..but get a hairnet for future shows!
~~~~~Make sure your horse trailers well!
And while your horse in in the trailer have ALL windows open and if you want put polo raps on them while trailering.
Be sure to take 2 or so towels to wipe off sweat and to rub in the showsheen.
!!!!!!!!!!Remember to have fun!!!! If you wont have fun you will never want to how. Its normal to be nervous!!!!
