Travel to France with only a few days left on visa?

Hi. I have a Schengen visa valid til 17th June and will be travelling to France from 5th to 9th June. I know French officials can sometimes be a bit difficult, do you think it'll be OK?

There should be no problem on a valid visa as long as you hold sufficient funds to cover your travel (i.e. €70 per day) and present a return flight ticket to your country of orign.
