Is it safe to take children to the baseball in Los Angeles?
I am travelling to the USA for work in June. My mum is then flying over with my five year old son to meet me so we can spend a week going to Disneyland etc. I have always wanted to go to a baseball game in the USA and see that the Dodgers are playing the Angels while we are in LA. Would it be safe for a 60 year old woman, 35 year old woman and a 5 year old to go to a LA Dodgers game? Recommendation?
As long as you don't sit in the pavilions (the outfield), or wear Angels gear at Dodgers stadium, you should be fine. I too will be going to see that Dodgers versus Angels series in June with my friends, half Dodgers fans, half Angels fans. Dodgers versus Angels is a rivalry game and with all heated rivalries there are going to be some harsh words being thrown around by the fans, mainly Dodgers fans. If you want the cleanest, safest and best experience at Dodgers stadium though I highly recommend getting infield lodge box seats or field box seats to the game. If money isn't a option, go for baseline, or field box MVP. Your traveling all this way, might as well get good seats. P.S.- Also note some sections in the stadium for that series will probably sell out, if not maybe Friday and Saturday night might get completely sold out. I recommend buying your tickets in advance for that series, it's a very popular series.
