Should I buy my flight, then passport?
WWW.Travel.State.Gov says that if you need your passport in a rush because your flight is in 14 days, then should i buy my ticket so when i go downtown for my appointment I cant show my flight info?

If you actually do need to travel in 14 days or less, you must have proof...that would be your tickets. Then you must CALL the Regional Passport Agency and make an appointment , then go in, wait and you will get your passport the same day. You cannot go to any post office...you must make an appointment at one of the 13 Regional passport Agencies in the U.S.
