Travel Items For Italy
Convertor necessary, or just an adapter?
My uncle and cousin are travelling to Italy and England. Will they need and electrical convertor or just an adapter for items that must be plugged in?
You need both if you bring along American appliances with you like a hair dryer, cell phone charger because not only do you need something to convert the shape of the the plug, and you might need one for Italy and one for England because I can't remember if they have the same plugs or not, but then you need an adaptor to convert the charges becaude the volts are different.....I remember when I went to England, the first night this girl in my group plugged in her camera and it blew the circuit and we lost power in that hallway....and her camera charger was fried....
Go to Brookstone's at the mall though because I think they sell a package of all different adaptors and convertors at a good price, and you know it will all work together
