Travel Maps With Pins
How Do I Make A Map of My Trip?
I've been scouring the internet looking for a Google Maps mashup or something that would allow me to plug in several locations, and get pins on top of the locations with lines in between them. Basically I'm looking for something like what they show at travelpod.com. I tried signing up for an account but I can't figure out how to create map of my trip. Any help would be appreciated.
By the way, I'm going on a missions trip to South Africa this spring and the whole purpose of this question is so that I can print out a map for my church congregation.

Not an answer, as I have not yet tried to make a map with google, but a little help with your link.
If you put the whole of the address as additional detail, including the http:/ yahoo will not show the whole but it can be clicked on.
If I find out more about making a map I will add to this question, but I hope you get an answer of somebody with experience.

I went to http://maps.google.co.uk/ and there I found the option my maps, (or something like it, I get the Dutch language version,) and when I click on that I get an explanation.
In there it says that you have to sign in on your Google account, or that you have to make such an account. If you have made that account you will still have to sign in on your account on the google maps page.
Once you have done that you can make your map, with little problems.
Go back to the main page of google maps and open 'my maps' you can than choose to add details to the map, zoom in or out. And add many more things if you want.
The help page does explain it.
