Travelling with medication heart patient?

I had a heart attack in February. This May, I'll go on a trip for a class to New York. I'm in eight different drugs, including heart medications and blood thinners. I am also using a patch Nitro and Nitro to take the tablets as necessary. What is the procedure for taking all this medication on a plane? Usually divide everything up into a box of pills each month, so not have to deal with bottles every night. Is it necessary to have in each bottle? And as for the nitroglycerin-I have a RX for it, and it is such a small amount going to let take me until the plane?

I agree that they have to be on the Rx bottle. I will add make sure they are in their hand baggage and not packed. You can bring a copy of the recipe for the patch, just in case there are questions. Please make sure to drink plenty of water before the flight to help the dehydration. I do not know how how long the flight is, but with some precautions that should be fine. I am a multiple stroke survivor and flew a month ago without difficulty. I am also many medicines. Good luck!
