Travel Nursing Agencies Uk

What should I expect when moving to UK?
I am an American who will be going either to Cheltenham, England or Edinborough, Scotland (I probably spelled that wrong) to work as an RN if things go as planned. I am coming over with a travel nurse agency. What should I expect as an American living in the UK? If there are any nurses who can answer that would be great too.
at least you see something for your taxes. I pay 22% in taxes plus i have to pay for medical and dental, high education and daycare costs and i am a slave to my car due to no mass transit where i live so gas is an added tax for me
Edinburgh is the place to stay although it has it's fair share of tourists the history there is wonderful, do go to the West Coast of Scotland if you want beautiful scenery.
I am a UK registered nurse, make sure you don't end up in a care home this is to avoided at all costs, if possible stay within the NHS although that too has it's drawbacks. If there is any aspect of the work you don't fancy don't accept it, as a foreigner you will be offered poorly paid jobs in bad conditions.ie the jobs nobody else will accept.
On the whole you will love Scotland get out and see the countryside.
I lived in Scotland for 20 years and still miss it. I wish you well in your new home.
