A / outlet to help international travel.?

I'm traveling to Buenos Aires, Argentina soon. I have to connect elements such as iron dryer, alarm clock, etc, and a lap top. What kind of converter / adapter plug for what I need to get these work items. I've been in several radio booths and I keep getting different answers. Thank you for your help.

Hi, For all the items you want to connect must first make sure that they are double voltage (Argentina uses 220 V, USA / Canada 120 V). This means that unless you use a transformer (very heavy to carry!) That may not be able to use things like hair iron or an alarm clock unless they are dual voltage. For laptops, which usually can only buy another outlet. Argentina uses 200 V, connection type C (round pin, type of attachment) or I (type oblique plane, three points) so it also depends on what you have in your hotel (or where you will stay). You can buy laptop, plugs univeral usually can take care of these two types. This website http://www.kropla.com/electric2.htm is that I found useful during the trip to visit the outlets / electricity. I advise you, unless you have a dual voltage flat iron and / or an alarm clock to do not bring or to buy locally (this is what I have in the past with hair dryer). To alarm clocks, can be easier (especially if you're moving about / lots of travel) to buy a small battery operated one.
