On hand luggage to travel with Continental Airlines ...?
Read luggage luggage regulations continental.com (http://www.continental.com/web/en-US/content/travel/baggage/carry-on.aspx) and confuses me ... says I can take hand luggage and one personal item, then the list what types of personal items I can bring ... Does this mean I have to choose between carrying my digital camera, MP3 player and a laptop? At first, I thought that a suitcase in the luggage, a backpack and I have my laptop, mp3 player, digital camera and there .... so what should I do now? Also, if I can take my laptop, does that mean I have take it out to be scanned by X-ray machine itself? (The same goes for toiletries 3 oz?) By the way, I'm traveling from Newark, NJ (EWR) to Hong Kong (HKG) (this is a 15> hour flight. <)
You can have a laptop bag (where you can put your laptop, MP3 and camera) and one personal item (like a backpack or purse). You can not have a laptop bag, backpack and a handbag. You can put your laptop in the backpack (I do it all the time) if you want to take it that way. You only have to take and send through the machine separately. If you bring your laptop, you have to get out of the bag when passing through x-ray machine. Be prepared to demonstrate that equipment is really a team that food security agents. Your MP3 player and a digital camera can remain in the bag. As for its size Ziploc assigned bathroom, you have to pull that her backpack and put it through x-ray machine separately. Happy travels!
