Travel Reimbursement Taxable Income
Is corporate travel expense reimbursement taxable?
It used to be that corporate travel expenses are not taxable. Have they become taxable now? Well, for meals and lodging I believe it is reasonable. How about transportation? If I have to fly and the ticket amounts to hundreds or thousands, then this item is added to my annual income, would this be fair?
If it is travelling allowance then taxable.
But if it is reimbursement then non-taxable.
