driving london to mali?
hi there,
me and my boyfriend will be driving our 1982 van from the uk till mali.
we'll start in july and have till christmas.
talking with some friends we got concerned with the safety of this kind of trip.. we're both very experienced travellers but not in africa and not in travelling by car..
can anyone tell us about the real dangers of a trip like this?..
and also, we'd be happy to hear about road conditions and suggestions!
