Do they ever ACTUALLY send you what they say they will?
I signed up to receive emails from Halls and Bath & Body Works. Halls said that they would email me a coupoun for a free bag of cough drops, and Bath & Body Works said they would email me a coupoun for a free travel sized product with any $5 purchase. Are they ever going to actually send me what they say they would, or are they just saying that stuff as bribes? Am I really just setting myself up to receive a bunch of junk mail?
Any time you leave your E-mail address or other personal information, you are setting yourself up for all sorts of spam. I never leave that information. If I am at a site that requires me to "Sign up," I leave, never to return. I will not give out, or "share" my personal information. I do not get spam that way, or any other mail that I do not want. Also, never open mail from people you do not know. Opening spam alerts the sender that your address is a valid one and they send you loads and loads more.
