Travel Tips Packing
What are some good tips for packing when traveling in Europe?
I'm traveling in Europe for 3 weeks in the winter. What would some good things to pack for the trip? I will be staying in hostels and traveling by train often, so I need to pack some light and be able to fit all in just a few pieces. Any suggestions on what to wear and how to pack?
I lived in Germany for 5 years and traveled extensively .. I always take heavy warm socks, long underwear, heavy jeans, flannel shirts a few, and the army jacket trusted with the coating. Sunglasses and boots good course of hot water. I took everything I needed for a month in a regular old backpack. Not a fancy one. Get used to wash clothes in the toilets as there was laundry all, as here in the U.S.. Although Haus Frau was doing laundry the same day for a small price.
