how to travel with my hamster?
ok i live in texas and we are going to north carolina this july.we have to take my hamster and 2 labs one lab will sit in the trunk seat with my 2 little siblings and my other will sit between me and my older brother and my hamster will sit between my legs in the floor board in her cage.uncomfortable yes but is it safe for my hamster my dogs want nothing to do with her so they aren't a issue.i want tips on travel with my hamster plz help i want her to safe and happy.oh and we will stop at a hotel so she will get a break from car ride.the trip is 2 days long but inturupted by a night in a hotel.i dont have anyone i trust to care forher for a month as she must have her cage cleaned every week and she has a wheel that is hard to clean.plz give me tips
You should get a smaller carrying case for your hamster, something like this http://www.freewebs.com/petsgantry/Iris%20Carrying%20Case-Blue.JPG. That way you don't have a smelly cage and you have something smaller so that way it's a bit more comfortable for you and the hamster won't mind, just make sure it has food and water.
