Travel Us Virgin Islands
Drinking water in the U.S. Virgin Islands?
I am traveling to the Virgin Islands. We will stay at Cinnamon Bay on St. John. Someone who has been there or someone who lives in the islands know if I can drink the water? Do tourists usually buy bottled water? I know that residents are accustomed to probably does not care about that, but any advice would be appreciated. Thanks.
As a seasoned traveler to San Juan and a past guest Cinnamon Bay First I would like to simply say ... IM JEALOUS! It is a spectacular beach and a fun place to stay! I have never bought a bottle of water in any of the Virgin Islands and not have any problem at all. The only time it takes to get water from elsewhere that the key to the rooms during their stay at the eco lodge in the Bay Concordia coral .... actually tell you to be sure to get drinking water from taps determined. You should be fine with tap water! Have a good time!
