Travel Usb Hub
I'm looking for a high powered usb hub to power my external hard drives?
I have four seagate go flex 1tb, all usb powered devices. I travel alot so having one that isn't usb powered isn't much of an option. When I'm home though I have nice little setup where I just hook them all up to powered hub. Problem: the hub doesn't put out enough power. Assuming every hard drive uses the max amp draw of 500 mA from a single usb output, four of them would draw 2 amps minimal which is what seems to be every usb hubs capable output.
I would need something about 5 amps or more to power the other stuff I have to.
You know a better hub, or even just a better power supply for the hub I do have.

Usually, all hubs come with a plug that you plug into the wall to give it enough power. If you don't know what happened to the one for your hub, or you are sure it didn't come with one, you can pretty much buy any other hub and it should have a way to supply enough power.
