travel wipes case tutorial
I want to know how to make a BIG wipe case cover please.?

I see all these tutorials on how to cover the travel diaper wipes case but I want a tutorial on how to cover a big standard size diaper wipes case. Please, any help would be appreciated. Thank you in advance.

Probably the easiest way would be to cut and hem the edge of a strip of fabric you like and either hot glue or contact cement it to your wipes box or put velcro strips on overlapping ends so it is removable. Measure your wipes box, height and perimeter (distance all the way around it). Cut a piece of fabric that is about one inch wider than the box is tall and one inch longer than the perimeter of the box (if hot gluing) or two inches longer than the box perimeter if using velcro on an overlapping end. Sew a half inch hem all around the fabric, ideally hem the length so the ends just touch when stretched around the box (if hot gluing) or overlap about an inch if using velcro. Apply hot glue or contact cement to the box and apply the fabric around the box. Or put the velcro stips on the ends and wrap the fabric around the box, securing the velcro strips.

You could also sew elastic into the top and bottom edges of the fabric and then sew the ends of the fabric together to form a short tube with the elastic top and bottom. Then slip this over the wipes box. This Blog site shows examples of this style:

The glue or velcro on methods would look similar to the pictures at the blog site except of course the fabric would not have the elastic cinching it around the box.
